S.O.T
Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) was originally formulated by Major Bertrand DeJarnette (The Major) who was a Doctor (chiropractor and osteopath) and Engineer in the 1920’s. The Major was inspired to go beyond simple spinal adjusting and developed methods of correcting the Cranium, Pelvis, Extremities and Organs. This study brought about a system of adjusting patterns in the body, not just single body parts. The most significant pattern was the relationship between the sacrum and occiput (which became the name of the technique).
An important distinction of SOT is the use of indicators. Each adjustment has a sign or signal that the we use to know when and where to adjust. For example, muscle tension at the knee may indicate the pelvis needs correction, and connective tissue fibers at the base of the skull (called occipital fibers) indicate different vertebra in the back or spine may be in need of an adjustment. This also tells us on the next visit if the correction has been completely or marginally effective. From these indicators, we design a different adjustment set on each visit, listening to the body each time. It takes study to master this method of care, but it makes for an effective, precise adjustment without relying exclusively on x-rays.
Quantum Neurology
Quantum Neurology is nerve testing and rehabilitation. Developed over the course of 10 years, Quantum Neurology was born out of Dr. George Gonzalez’s work restoring his own wife’s health after a spinal cord injury.
QN activates the body’s natural actions, reactions, and reflexes to restore function to motor, cranial, sensory, and visceral nerves using light therapy and nerve specific exercises.
T.B.M.
Total Body Modification (TBM)
TBM is an incredibly powerful healing system that instigates physiological changes in the body instantaneously! We use this body of work to instantly boost immunity, influence blood pressure, harmonize allergies, eliminate menstrual cramps, balance emotions, clear toxins, restore water utilization & metabolism, improve energy, re-set sugar metabolism, sharpen your mind and much, much more.
Dr. Victor Frank, founder of TBM, discovered that the excessive fluctuation and daily “rollercoaster rides” of blood sugar levels, combined with dehydration, was the primary culprit in a myriad of illnesses. Therefore, in order to get the body WELL as quickly & efficiently as possible, the first step is to regulate the body’s autonomic nervous system. This is accomplished by first performing a series of tests and corrections, thereby “turning on” over 80 different systems and organs of the body. Secondly, the patient is placed on a special two week diet at which time specific foods are completely avoided and the body is diligently nourished every two hours with various meats, fruits and vegetables. There is also a specific amount of water consumption required that is determined by the individuals body weight. All this keeps the body from going into a hyper- or hypo-glycemic state, re-sets sugar metabolism, and allows the nervous system to recalibrate. This in turn results in greater equilibrium and homeostastis.
Once the body’s “bio-computer” has been reset, the individual has conquered one of the greatest obstacles keeping them from Being Well, allowing true healing to take place. TBM lends an infinitely valuable tool in helping our patients get & stay WELL. It is for this reason that all our doctors are trained in TBM, and it is a usual and customary part of every visit.
Q.R.A
Quantum Reflex Analysis

Quantum Reflex Analysis has illuminated concepts and ideologies we have yet to find elsewhere. Through QRA we are able to examine & address a multitude of factors that can be causing your current experience of health & life. Some of the factors incorporated into our analysis are:
- The supplements you are currently taking
- The impact of Electro-Magnetic Frequencies (EMF’s) on your home & office
- The impact of environmental EMF’s on your body (including your car)
- Old scars & traumas that are creating roadblocks to healing in your body
- How your gums & teeth are affecting your overall health
- Finding faulty belief systems that subconsciously create destruction in your life
Science has shown us that the human organism is not merely a physical structure with molecules and atoms. The human body is a complex integration of energy fields, just like everything else! The ultimate goal of Q.R.A. is to make you so healthy that you literally radiate energy 6 feet & beyond!
We are thankful to Dr. Bob Marshall, and Dr. Linda Forbes for bringing the wisdom of this work to the masses.
B.E.S.T
Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.)
It is well known that emotions play a critical role in Being Well. Our feelings and emotions generate physiological changes in our body that may cause us to cry, cringe, yell, laugh or fight! As over 88% of activity in the mind is subconscious (meaning that we are not conscious or aware of it), unresolved, latent and hidden feeling can cause chaos in the body.
Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique (B.E.S.T.) brings to the surface the most critical “feeling” that needs to be addressed. Through a process of mimicking the same neurological “positioning” as when the original insult occurred we are able to “synchronize” the body and eliminate the locked up feeling. This results in improved posture, breathing and Range of Motion instantaneously!! Beyond that, it really causes a transformation in how that individual handles life – and therefore, it impacts how the people in their life experience them! B.E.S.T. goes beyond emotions, it restores communication within the Nervous System and has outstanding effects on pain, posture and function. B.E.S.T. is and always will be near and dear to my heart, as it cleared my long and turbulent battle with acne. My gratitude for this blessing will keep me a B.E.S.T practitioner for life.
Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

Chinese medicine is a prevention-oriented, holistic approach to physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It is a comprehensive natural health care system that has been used in Asian countries for thousands of years to preserve health as well as diagnose, treat and prevent illness.
The general theory of acupuncture is that proper physiological function and health depend on the circulation of nutrients, substances, and vital energy called Qi (pronounced “chee”) through a network of channels and meridians in our body. This network connects every organ and system of the body, providing balance, regulation, and coordination of physiological processes.
What causes an imbalance?
Imbalance, pain and ill health result when the flow of this vital Qi through the body is disrupted or blocked. This can be caused by many things, including disease, pathogens, trauma/injuries, and medication (side effects), as well as lifestyle factors such as overwork, poor diet, emotions, lack of rest, and stress.
Is Acupuncture Painful?

Stimulation of the appropriate acu-points can be done by inserting very thin needles through skin as well as through heat or finger pressure. When a needle is inserted into an acupuncture point it is normal to feel a sensation of warmth, slight numbness, heaviness or mild achiness at the point of insertion, or sometimes nothing at all. If sharp pain or unusual discomfort is felt, the needle is removed immediately. The ultimate goal is to restore sufficient, continuous, and even flow of Qi and blood throughout the body, thereby restoring health and balance to the body while relieving pain and other symptoms.
Western Scientific Research
Research has shown that acupuncture increases the microcirculation and vasomotion throughout the body which in turn increases oxygenation of the tissues which will help flush toxins, waste products, and other accumulated particles and chemicals from the tissues improving their overall function. Therefore, the small electrical currents generated by the insertion of a needle into the fascia or connective tissues can indeed have beneficial effects. And because of the nature of the connective tissues, it is quite plausible that these effects could occur both locally at the site of needle insertion or at a distance from the acupoint.
Who can benefit from acupuncture? What conditions can be treated?
Patients of acupuncture range from infants to senior citizens. They may be seeking an alternative to Western medicine or it may be their last hope of relief, having exhausted other methods of treatment for a chronic condition. Or, an acupuncturist may be their first choice of health care practitioner for a low-risk form of treatment with few side effects. At Be Well we use a complex system of diagnostic methods that take into consideration the patient as a whole, discerning the body’s pattern of disharmony rather than isolated symptoms. The goal is not only to eliminate or alleviate symptoms, but more importantly to treat the underlying cause, increase the ability to function, and improve the quality of life.
Acupuncture can effectively treat various conditions, including but not limited to:
